Qigong in Yellowknife

You don't need to keep

running on empty.

Gentle, one‑on‑one Qigong sessions for tired professionals. Release the tension you’ve been carrying, sleep more deeply, and come home to your body — no experience or belief required.

If this sounds familiar

You look like you have it together.

You feel like you're running on empty.

Your shoulders live somewhere near your ears

You sleep, but you don’t wake up rested

Your mind won’t stop cataloguing tomorrow

You’ve forgotten what a full breath feels like

You take care of everyone. Then you take care of the rest.

You keep saying, “I just need to slow down.”

You’re not broken. You’re not depressed. You’re depleted and your body has been keeping score. Qigong is a quiet way to hand some of that weight back.

What is Qigong?

An ancient practice, taught simply.

Qigong (chee‑gong) is a gentle sequence of slow movement, breath, and stillness rooted in Chinese medicine. No pretzel poses. No chanting. No belief in anything required. Just a quieter nervous system and a body that finally feels like yours again.

Release

Soften held tension in the shoulders, neck, and jaw.

Restore

Move your body out of "go" and into deep, honest rest.

Reconnect

Feel your own energy again: grounded, clear, unhurried.

After a session

Hi, I'm Melanie.

I spent years in high‑pressure work in the North, running the exact same loop you’re probably running now. Qigong is what quietly gave me my life back and now it’s what I offer to the women of Yellowknife who are ready to feel like themselves again.

You don’t have to be spiritual. You don’t have to be flexible. You just have to show up. I’ll take it from there.

In their words

From women who came in tired.

Before you book

The honest answers.

I've never done anything like this before.

Most of my clients haven’t either. The first session is entirely at your pace. You’ll be walked through everything.

I'm not really a spiritual person.

You don’t need to be. Qigong is a movement and breath practice. You bring your body. That’s all that’s required.

Does this actually work?

Most people notice a shift after the first session: softer shoulders, deeper breath, better sleep that night. Real change comes with a few weeks of consistency, and I’ll teach you simple practices to do at home.

I'm not flexible or in shape.

Perfect. Qigong is slow, standing (or seated), and adapted to your body. If you can breathe, you can do this.

What if it feels weird?

It’s a quiet room, a calm voice, and simple movement. No chanting, no incense, no pressure. If something doesn’t feel right, we adjust.

Before you book

One hour. One breath. A different week.

Your first session is a gentle introduction. No commitment, no pressure. Just an hour of coming back to yourself.
